Various targets set out for Yen Bai youths in next five years

YBO - With the slogan of "Yen Bai youth - bravery, intelligence, volunteering, development", the 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Yen Bai province for the 2022 - 2027 term has seen the participation of 322 delegates, including 222 official ones and 100 guests.

The congress is expected to set out goals for the new tenure, such as at least 3,600 youth works to be carried out, and 500,000 union members and youths to participate in volunteer activities.

Every year, youths are expected to propose 6,000 ideas and initiatives, of which 300 will be implemented thanks to support from youth unions.

By 2027, over 60% of young people will have access to activities to improve digital capacity implemented by youth unions at all levels; at least 50% of them will use online public services, and 70% will use electronic payment accounts.

At least 50 "Happy Youth Union" models will be implemented, and the "Youths join hands in building happy schools" movement carried out in all schools.

Each year, at least 25,000 young people will be provided with career consultancy, while at least 3,000 people will be introduced to jobs. Loans for economic development worth 45 billion VND (1.9 million USD) are expected to be offered to young people; and 30 innovative start-up projects will get support.

In the new term, Yen Bai youths will strive to implement six projects, namely "Supporting and developing the start-up movement among Yen Bai youths in the 2021 – 2025 period"; "Developing youth union officials of Yen Bai province in the 2022 – 2027 period"; "Promoting the role of Yen Bai youths in participating in environmental protection and climate change response in the 2022 – 2027 period, with a vision to 2030"; "Educating skills for youths and children in Yen Bai province in the 2022 – 2027 period”; "Promoting the role of Yen Bai province’s ethnic minority youths in digital transformation in the 2022 – 2027 period"; and "Yen Bai children participating in preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identities in the 2022 - 2027 period".
