Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan received and worked with Frijns Group - the Netherlands at Qatar

YBO - On August 13th, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Frijns Group - the Netherlands in Qatar and TTLC Trade, Tourism, Labor Export joint Stock Company.

Participating in the working session were Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Employment Service Centre, and Yen Bai Vocational College.

Representing Frijns Group - Netherlands in Qatar were Mr. Le Anh Cuong - General Director of the Group and Mr. Hoang Van Hung - General Director of TTLC Trade, Tourism, Labor Export joint Stock Company.

During the reception, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan exchanged quick information about the scale of vocational training facilities in the province as well as the human resources available to meet the labor export demand of businesses at present.

Mr. Tuan said that during 2019 - 2023, Yen Bai province sent thousands of laborers to work in countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Middle East, Thailand, Malaysia, mainly focusing on industries of manufacturing, garment, electronics, household assistance, nursing care, construction.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan affirmed that over the past years, the Party Committee and government of Yen Bai province have paid attention to comprehensively implementing many support policies, from information dissemination and provision, vocational training, foreign languages training, support for expenses, preferential credit loans...to create favorable conditions for workers to seek employment opportunities abroad.

Especially, Yen Bai province issued for the first time the Project to send Yen Bai laborers to work abroad during the period of 2024 - 2030. In 2024, Yen Bai province aims to have around 1,400 laborers going abroad to work, helping to implement the goals of poverty reduction and increased income for local people.

At the working session, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan suggested that enterprises should continue coordinating with relevant departments, branches and localities to survey the markets, human resources and policies to attract recruitment and training of laborers for export. Yen Bai province strictly comply with legal regulations and properly fulfill commitments for orders signing to send people abroad for labor export in Yen Bai province.

Mr. Tuan emphasized that Yen Bai province always accompanies and pays attention to creating all conditions to support enterprises when coming to recruit exported labor in Yen Bai; continue doing well the task of mobilizing high quality human resources to meet recruitment needs of domestic and foreign enterprises.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Le Anh Cuong - General Director of Frijns Group - Netherlands in Qatar and Mr. Hoang Van Hung - General Director of TTLC Trade, Tourism, Labor Export joint Stock Company expressed deep gratitude to Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee for sparing time to receive the delegation. At the same time, they highly appreciated Yen Bai province's attention in having mechanisms and policies for labor export abroad and resolutely solve difficulties and remove obstacles for enterprises coming to recruit laborers in the province.

It is expected that in 2024, TTLC Trade, Tourism, Labor Export joint Stock Company will recruit about 200 laborers aged 18 - 53 to work in mechanical trades such as: welding, assembly, grinding, structure assembly, polishing,... to work in factories for Frijns Group - Netherlands in Qatar, with employment contracts of 3 years that can be extended for many more years. The basic salary is 780 USD/month and other policies and benefits according to the regulations of Qatari law...

Since 2021, Yen Bai Province has transitioned 39,289 workers from agriculture to non-agricultural sectors.

Over the five-year period from 2021 to 2025, Yen Bai Province has created jobs for 110,339 workers. Of these: 56,393 were employed through socio-economic development programs, 11,907 accessed loans from the National Employment Fund, 2,886 worked abroad under labor export programs, and 39,153 were supplied to out-of-province employers.
