YênBái - Yen Bai province has asked for more efforts to monitor and seriously implement the reception and quarantine of foreigners entering the locality and Vietnamese citizens who have come to it from coronavirus-hit areas.

The province sent a dispatch to local authorities requiring 14-day quarantine at concentrated isolation areas for those who come from or transit through communes reporting infection cases and secondary infections in the community as regulated by the Health Ministry.

They are requested to inform authorities about the places they come to or live. The health of those who come from or transit through communes having infection cases but not reporting secondary infections in the community is monitored at the places they reside following the Health Ministry’s regulations.

For those who come from or go through the Republic of Korea, the provincial People’s Committee has had temporary guidance on quarantine as follows:

Listing cases who come from or transit through the disease-hit areas of Daegu and Cheongdo in the RoK’s North Gyeongsang province (from February 25) and quarantining them at concentrated isolation areas, and monitoring their health daily within 14 days.

Quarantining at home those who came from or transited through the disease-hit areas of Daegu and Cheongdo in the RoK’s North Gyeongsang province (from February 18-24), but return home and residing places. Their health is examined daily within 14 days as regulated.

People who come from other regions in the RoK must conduct health declaration and have their health checked at home or places where they stay.
