As one of the subsidiaries of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO Tokyo), Tokyo Energy System Inc is a leading energy conglomerate in Japan. It is keen on co-investing and developing renewable energy projects, particularly in biomass in the locality.

Accordingly, the corporation will procure wood resources and wood waste from wood processing plants to serve biomass power plant projects in Yen Binh district, and provide the locality with advanced techniques and equipment related to energy projects.

Expressing the readiness to create the most favourable conditions for investors to explore investment opportunities in the locality, representatives of Yen Binh district highlighted its potential for socio-economic and cultural development.

Yen Binh boasts abundant natural resources, especially water resources, forests, and some mineral resources, they said, adding that the district is currently focusing on developing tourism in Thac Ba Lake with the aim of turning it into a national eco-tourism destination.

The Prime Minister approved a master planning scheme for developing Thac Ba Lake national tourism site with an approximate area of 53,000 ha. In July 2022, at the 7th session of the 19th provincial People's Council, a resolution was adopted to approve the master planning scheme until 2040./.
