Yen Bai sends 17 delegations to pay visits, present gifts on Tet occasion

YênBái - Yen Bai province has organised 17 delegations led by permanent members of the provincial Party Committee, members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the provincial People’s Committee to visit and present gifts to localities and units on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the National Assembly deputies’ delegation of Yen Bai, visited and extended Tet greetings to the Radio - Television Station, the Military Command, and the General Hospital of the province.

At the units, he applauded and highly valued efforts by the units’ cadres, soldiers, staff members, and health workers over the past years, saying they have considerably contributed to the successful implementation of local political tasks and met people’s healthcare demand, thus helping create a joyful atmosphere for people of all social strata to celebrate a merry Tet festival.

Coming to the Yen Bai Power Company, Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ta Van Long expressed sympathy for electricity workers over their difficulties, especially during Tet and major anniversaries when they have to stay far away from their families to fulfill the task of supplying electricity for activities and events of the province, as well as the daily life and production activities of people and businesses.

On this occasion, he visited and offered Tet greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police High Command for the northwestern region, along with the staff of the provincial Hospital of Obstetrics and Paediatrics.

Visiting the provincial Department of Public Security, Military Division 355, the province’s Centre for Social Work and Social Protection, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Huy Tuan spoke highly of the officers and soldiers of local armed forces as well as the staff of the Centre for Social Work and Social Protection, who have actively made the best possible preparations to stay on duty and serve people during Tet.

On the occasion of Tet 2024, Yen Bai has organised 17 delegations led by permanent members of the provincial Party Committee, members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the provincial People’s Committee to visit and present gifts to localities, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, revolution contributors, the elderly, and people with disadvantaged backgrounds.

They have also paid Tet visits to 53 units on duty during Tet, social assistance centres, associations, and four units outside Yen Bai which are caring for revolution contributors and disadvantaged children of the province.
