Yen Bai: Suspected COVID-19 cases kept in quarantine

YênBái - Yen Bai province has arranged two quarantine areas for Vietnamese nationals and foreigners coming to the locality from regions hit by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The first area was set up at the provincial military school. It has 33 rooms, each equipped with two beds, television, wardrobe, and toilet, and is capable to quarantine 66 people. Meanwhile, the other is placed in Nghia Lo town, with total 28 rooms.

Medical staff were asked to join hands with local police, army and authority to transport, receive and classify suspected cases, as well as arrange specialised transportation vehicles.

The facilities will begin operation on February 15, and finish their mission when receiving a direction from the provincial People’s Committee.
