Art troupes brought to the event 120 performances including ensembles, dances, excerpts and skits that praise the Party, Uncle Ho and love for the homeland.

The skits performed at the festival are all self-edited works and closely follow the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State and traditional beauty of the locality. They focus on disseminating the purpose of developing communes and districts that meet standards for new-style rural areas, building civilised lifestyles, cultural families, digital transformation, eradicating outdated customs and superstitions.

The highlight of the event is that the art troupes have paid special attention to the introduction of excerpts imbued with the folklore of the ethnic groups in the district.

During the national costume competition, the contestants wore the costumes of 12 ethnic groups in the district.

The festival aims to improve the quality of amateur art movement in Van Yen district; preserve and honour the traditional beauty of the ethnic groups in the locality. This offers an opportunity to evaluate the quality of Van Yen's amateur art movement, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment and spiritual life of local residents.
