Over 82,000 Yen Bai examinees sit for high school graduation tests

YBO – joining over 1 million peers nationwide, more than 8,200 examinees in Yen Bai province engaged in the first day of the 2023 high school graduation tests on June 28.

As many as 8,235 examinees took the tests at 27 sites with 367 exam rooms across Yen Bai province. They include 7,014 from high schools, 1,221 from establishments of continuing education, and 312 not coming from any educational establishments. All exam sites were equipped with necessary infrastructure and facilities, and also had security, traffic safety, power supply, and healthcare plans readied to ensure the best possible conditions for examinees.

To ensure the examinations took place safely, seriously and in line with regulations, the provincial council for the 2023 high school graduation examinations mobilised nearly 1,700 personnel. All organisation tasks were carried out thoroughly. Notably, the province worked to ensure that no examinees have to miss the tests due to far distance, disadvantaged backgrounds, or bad weather conditions.

Examinees took the literature test in the morning and the mathematics one in the afternoon of June 28. On June 29, they sit tests of natural science subjects or social science subjects in the morning, and the foreign language test in the afternoon. June 30 is the reserve day.

Also on June 28, an inspection delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training and Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the province’s steering board for the 2023 high school graduation exams and the high school admission exams for the 2023 - 2024 academic year, checked invigilation activities of the high school graduation exams in Yen Bai city.
