Yen Bai sends 44 medical workers to support HCM City in COVID-19 fight

YênBái - On July 13, a delegation of 44 doctors, nurses and technicians departed for Ho Chi Minh City to help the current biggest pandemic hotspot contain COVID-19.

Responding to the call from the Government and the Ministry of Health as well as the direction of the provincial leaders, the delegation, including 12 doctors, 30 nurses and two technicians will assist HCM City until the pandemic is thoroughly controlled in the city.

This is the fifth time in 2021 that Yen Bai has sent volunteer medical staff to other localities to help them fight COVID-19. Earlier they came to Bac Ninh and Bac Giang.
 
Before leaving, the medical staff had received trainings and guidance on the professional process and pandemic prevention and control measures. They were also vaccinated against COVID-19 and tested negative to SARS-CoV-2.
