Exhibition spotlights ethnic communities and religions of Vietnam

YênBái - The People's Committee of Tram Tau district has just coordinated with the Yen Bai Provincial Museum to open a thematic exhibition on Vietnam’s ethnic communities and religions in the cause of national building and defence, as part of activities to celebrate the 15th Culture Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (April 19) and the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).

On display are more than 400 photos and documents, and books and newspapers featuring Vietnam's ethnic groups and religions.

The exhibition is divided into four areas on ethnic minorities’ promotion of solidarity, creativity, integration and development; religions and beliefs in Vietnam; ethnic minority communities in the struggle for national liberation and the cause of national building and safeguarding; and ethnic minorities, religions and beliefs in Yen Bai.


The exhibition will take place from April 18 to April 30.

Held from April 18-30, the exhibition is expected to give visitors an insight into Vietnam's ethnic groups, historical traditions and cultural identities, as well as the Party’s viewpoints and guidelines, and the State’s policies and laws on ethnic groups, beliefs and religions, and the values of religion for social life.
