Level-2 data transmission network of Party, State agencies built in Yen Bai

YênBái - The Office of the People’s Committee of Yen Bai recently held a conference on the building of a data transmission network (level 2) of Party and State agencies in the locality, along with a cyber security and safety monitoring system.

The Office has been assigned as the investor of two projects related to smart city building, which involve smart urban infrastructure and a centre managing, supervising and handling smart urban data.
The data transmission network forms part of the project on smart urban infrastructure building. The network connects 399 provincial-level departments and agencies, and People’s Committees of districts, communes, wards and towns.
Work on the network began on March 1 and the network is expected to be put into service in April.
Regarding the centre supervising cyber safety and security, equipment has been handed over to 38 units, while the system of servers has been completed.
At the conference, delegates sought solutions to remove obstacles to the project on smart urban infrastructure building, and raised proposals to ensure its progress./.
