Participants planted 1,000 peach blossom trees along the road leading to Cu Vai hamlet in Hang Xe village (Xa Ho commune), and presented over 700 aid packages to disadvantaged students in the two communes of Xa Ho and Ban Mu.

On the occasion, work also started on paving a 400m-long road in Pa Hu commune’s Cang Dong village to facilitate local students’ daily travel to school, and two models of cultural villages operating community-based tourism were inaugurated.

Along with communications work, young people in the province will organize voluntary activities to contribute to the implementation of the national target programme on building new-style rural areas, and mobilize resources to build bridges, roads and playgrounds, among others.

Vice Secretary of the provincial committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Ha Duc Hai said that numerous activities at the provincial level will be organised in a practical and effective way, to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26.

The activities will be carried out in keeping with COVID-19 preventive measures, as mass gathering must be avoided.
