Prominent among Loan’s initiatives are ideas to improve the teaching and studying of Vietnamese language for pupils in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, apply STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education in teaching, and preserving cultural identity of local people.

In this academic year, she continues to expand the initiative "applying STEM education to educational activities" which was recognised at the district level for the school year 2021 – 2022, in Kim Noi kindergarten.

Meanwhile, her initiative to enhance the teaching of Vietnamese language for ethnic minority pupils has been applied in three kindergartens in Tram Tau, Luc Yen and Mu Cang Chai districts since the 2019 – 2020 academic year. 100% of pupils in these education establishments were from ethnic minority groups in the locality.

The initiative "Preserving local cultural identity" was implemented in the districts of Mu Cang Chai, Van Chan, Tram Tau, and Luc Yen in the 2020-2021 school year.

Loan said she hopes her initiatives help create positive changes among pupils in mountainous and ethnic minority areas.
