A majority of AO victims are incapable of working, so they and their families face many difficulties in their daily life.

In recent years, local Party committees, authorities, mass organisations at all levels have paid attention to the victims, and with the support of businesses, donors, locals and the whole society, the life of the victims and their families have improved.

On the occasions of the Lunar New Year and the Day for AO Victims every year, Yen Bai city’s Association of Victims of AO/Dioxin mobilises local donors and enterprises to present gifts to local victims.

This year, a total of 80 gifts worth 500,000 VND each have been delivered to local dioxin victims.
