It aims to pray for bumper crops, reflecting the unique cultural characteristic of a locality with over 80% of its population being Tay ethnic people.

With a variety of activities, this year’s edition has reenacted the story of "Cuc Keng" which has existed for many generations. It offered a chance for visitors to have a better understanding of the people, cultural identity and cuisine of the locality.

A series of cultural and art programmes, sport competitions, and typical culinary exchanges took place after an incense offering ceremony at the communal house of Tong Luong village. They included a cultural programme featuring the origin of Khau Mau New Year, also known as Com Festival, and a performance of Cac Keng rhythm. There were also eight booths displaying typical products of villages in the commune.

Other activities such as football and volleyball competitions between villages, communes and towns of the district, as well as folk games namely blindfolded catching ducks, walking on stilts and campfire, were also held at the event, drawing a large number of locals and tourists.
