Under recently issued Document No.94/UBND-VX, the provincial People’s Committee ordered departments, sectors, members of the provincial steering committee on nutritional deficiency prevention and control, and people’s committees of districts, towns and city to implement the programme to improve Vietnamese stature as directed by the Prime Minister.

It also asked for better responsibility of the party committees and authorities at all levels, as well as arrangement of financial and human resources for the programme.
