His burning passion for sculpturing led Khuc to the Vocational College in Phu Ly city of Ha Nam province.

After graduating, he returned to his hometown where he realized that wood carving did not produce high economic value. So he started his career in stone carving.

Learning and practicing the art at the same time, he accumulated experiences while working in stone production establishments in Luc Yen district. The passion for carving, the knowledge he acquired at the college as well as his thirst for studying helped him become a skilled carver in the locality. In 2012, he decided to open his own stone carving workshop called Khuc Sen in Tran Phu village of Minh Xuan commune.

Overcoming initial difficulties, so far, Khuc has a 100 sq.m workshop and employs two skilled workers, paying them about 10 million VND per month each.

Khic said that to be good at carving, talent is not enough, but one need to be hardworking and love the art.

Each year, Khuc earns about 200 million VND in profit. His workshop has also attracted many trainees from other localities across the province.

Thanks to the passion for the art and smart business management, so far, Khuc Sen has become a well-known and prestigious brand of fine art stone products with a diverse range of high quality products. The main products of the facility include statues of Buddha, arhats and God of Wealth, and interior and exterior decorations. The products are sold in the domestic market as well as a number of foreign markets such as China, Thailand and some European countries./.
