With a total investment of 330 billion VND, the concrete bridge is 12m wide and 400m long, and two roads leading to the bridge have a total length of 1.4km. 

It has been constructed by Trung Chinh Trade and Construction Limited Company since late 2019. After nearly one year, 95 percent of the work on the bridge is completed, while construction on the two leading roads is basically completed.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tuan acknowledged and lauded efforts by the investor and contractor to ensure the progress as directed by the province.

He stressed that Co Phuc bridge is one of 12 key projects that the provincial Party Committee has included in the action programme No.190 on carrying out the province’s political tasks in 2020.

This is also the first facility connecting the two sides of the Red River in Tran Yen district, he said, adding that once operational, it will contribute to facilitating the travel of local people and goods and open up more development opportunities for extremely disadvantaged communes in the right side of the Red River in Tran Yen district.

He urged the investor and contractor to continue supervising the construction of the project so as to ensure the progress and quality and strive to complete all work items of the bridge by December 31./.
