Yen Bai draws over 70 trillion VND and 430 million USD in investment

YênBái - As of July 2019, Yen Bai province granted investment licences to 485 projects with total registered capital of 71 trillion VND (3.07 billion USD) and 430 million USD.

Thac Ba Lake, which is considered Ha Long Bay on land, is inviting investment.

Nearly 80 percent of the projects were in the field of industry, while the remaining
projects were in agro-forestry-fishery, aquaculture, trade and service.
Major projects include the Thac Ba culture, sports and tourism park worth 4.98 trillion
VND invested by Alphanam Group; the Van Hoi international eco-tourism and resort
complex worth 2.7 trillion VND of TH Group’s Van Hoi international resort and tourism
development joint stock company; and a concentrated forestry processing and
production park worth over 1.4 trillion VND owned by Cuong Thinh Thi Group joint
Stock Company.
In the coming time, Yen Bai will continue to improve investment and business
environment and promote investment activities, as well as remove difficulties and
obstacles in investment procedures and projects’ operation to attract more investors to
the locality.
