2020 Yen Binh district’s trade, tourism fair underway

The trade and tourism fair of Yen Binh district is being held not only to create an event for sight-seeing and shopping, but also promote landscapes and people of the southeastern gateway of Yen Bai province.

Drum-beating performance to kick-start the fair

There are 35 booths featuring traditional products and 40 others of local staples from the district’s communes and townships. Of them, five pavilions introduce pomelo of Dai Minh cooperative and some other households in the communes of Dai Minh and Han Da, and Thac Ba township.
A photo exhibition on landscapes and people of Yen Bai province and Yen Binh district is also underway, along with a contest on peeling and arranging pomelo and assessing quality of Dai Minh pomelo.
A pedestrian zone is open to public at the new urban residential area.
An art programme themed a new day on Thac Ba lake
Of note, visitors can take part in tours to Dai Minh pomelo orchards and Thac Ba lake, and explore lifestyle of ethnic people at homestay establishments located in the east of the lake.
The event will run until November 14.
In the recent past, major investors have come to Yen Binh district to study the feasibility of their projects, including Alphanam Group and Sungroup.
