Yen Bai announces Public Administrative Reform Index in 2019

YênBái - The People’s Committee of Yen Bai province has issued Decision No. 739/QD-UBND on approving the Public Administrative Reform Index in 2019 of departments and sectors, and People’s Committees of cities, districts and towns.

According to the results reported by provincial departments and agencies (calculated as a percentage of the total number of administrative procedures being applied), the Office of National Assembly delegation – the provincial People's Council and People's Committee ranked first, reaching 94.9 percent. It was followed by the provincial Department of Heath, and the provincial Department of Education and Training, with 94.4 percent, and 93.48 percent, respectively. 

The provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs ranked 20th with 76.29 percent. 

Yen Bai city ranked first among districts and towns with 92.9 points. It was followed by Yen Binh, Van Yen and Luc Yen districts with 89.82 points, 89.64 points and 80.65 points, respectively. 

The performnance contributed to improving the provincial administrative reform index in 2019, helping Yen Bai to rank 26th among 63 provinces and cities nationwide, with a total score of 81.66 points, up 5.05 points and 8 places as compared to the previous year.
