Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee assigned the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to direct and guide relevant agencies and localities to organise tourism, culture, arts and sport activities in the new normal and ensure the strict implementation of safety measures, including wearing face masks and washing hands with sanitisers. Bars and karaoke venues are not yet permitted to reopen.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also responsible for giving advice in inspecting the implementation of tasks regarding tourism development in Yen Bai city, districts, and towns to the provincial People’s Committee. 

The people’s committees of Yen Bai city, districts, and towns were tasked with announcing the reopening of local tourist sites and services. 

Meanwhile, the provincial Department of Health was asked to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports, and the people’s committees of Yen Bai city, districts, and towns to issue disease prevention instructions in the new normal, and widely publicise the instructions at tourist sites, areas for organising tourism, culture, arts and sport activities, and public large gatherings./.
