At the event, participants agreed that the inclusion of folk culture into school curriculum and education-training activities in Nghia Lo at large will give students an insight into folk culture and the role of self-managing organisations, clubs and branches in bringing folk culture in schools.

They put forward measures to conserve and promote values of the heritage among young generations in a vivid and effective way, as well as expand the model in other localities and ethnic groups in Yen Bai province.

Nghia Lo – Muong Lo is home to rich traditional culture values of Thai and Muong ethnic minority groups. Legend has it that it is the ancient land of black Thai people and contains a panoply of cultural treasures such as folk dances and rituals.
