Yen Bai spends nearly 10 billion VND on supporting COVID-19-hit workers, employers

YênBái - Yen Bai has spent over 9.88 billion VND (435,043 USD) on assisting 25,692 workers and 1,719 employers who face difficulties due to COVID-19, in accordance with the Government’s Resolution 68/NQ-CP.

In addition, the province has granted 1.5 million VND each for 54 people in poor and near poor households, and Yen Bai citizens living in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern areas hit by COVID-19 outbreaks.
Yen Bai will continue guiding citizens and businesses in how to apply for support policies, particularly those under the Government’s Resolution 116 issued on September 24 on supporting pandemic-affected employees and employers using the unemployment insurance fund, which took effect on October 1.
