The Yen Bai Department of Education and Training has partnered with the province’s portal to broadcast televised lectures for ninth and twelfth graders in the province.

The televised lessons cover three subjects – Math, Literature and English – for the ninth graders while six more subjects are added for the twelfth graders, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography and Citizenship Education.

They are expected to help the students prepare well for the 10th grade entrance exams as well as the national high school graduation exam this year as all the schools were shut down since early February because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Teachers, selected from high schools across the province, have been filmed holding classes.

In poor mountainous districts like Mu Cang Chai, schools have tried their best to overcome difficulties and make use of all possible facilities to make video lessons and upload them to existing digital platforms for students’ access.

The Department of Education and Training has also asked the Hanoi Radio Television to re-broadcast televised lectures for students from the fourth to twelfth grades./.
