The festival’s opening ceremony will be held from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM on February 2, 2025, at the Dong Cuong Temple Festival Grounds.

A series of vibrant activities will be featured during the festival, including the ceremonial welcoming of Mr. Mo, incense offerings, the white buffalo sacrifice ritual, distribution of the spring blessings from the Mother Goddess, the recitation of thanksgiving texts, the procession of the Mother Goddess across the river, the main banquet ceremony, and the exhibition "Van Yen: Land and People." Additionally, there will be sporting events and a "Journey to the Land of the Mother Goddess" running competition.

The festival aims to uphold the traditional cultural values of the Dong Cuong Temple Festival, which has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. It also seeks to further promote the "All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life" movement, preserving and developing the cultural heritage of the nation to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of ethnic communities both within and beyond the district.

Through the festival, efforts will continue to expand the promotion of Dong Cuong Temple, a nationally recognized historical site, to visitors from across the country and abroad. This serves as a step toward fostering a breakthrough in spiritual tourism development, contributing to the socio-economic advancement of the locality in 2025 and the years to come.
