Youth Month 2020 launched in Yen Bai province

YênBái - The Youth Month 2020 was launched on March 1 in Minh Xuan commune, Luc Yen district, northern Yen Bai province, by the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Themed "Yen Bai youths voluntary and creative for the community”, the programme features activities and works that contribute to the building of new-style rural areas and civilised urban areas such as "Green Sunday”, social welfare activities, support of underprivileged children, and blood donation.
Activities promoting the youngsters’ creativity and supporting them to start business will be promoted.
On this occasion, local youths offered free face masks to local residents and disseminated measures to prevent the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Unions of the Vietnam News Agency and Yen Bai province present 1,000 book titles to students at Nguyen Thai Hoc secondary school in Luc Yen district.
