Yen Bai grants investment approval decisions to 61 projects

YBO - Authorities of northern Yen Bai province granted investment approval decisions to 61 projects with total registered capital of over 17.31 trillion VND (743 million USD) and more than 2.08 million USD in 2019 and January this year.

In 2019, the province granted investment approval decisions to 55 projects worth over 17.22 trillion VND.  Meanwhile, the six other projects with combined capital of 88.7 billion VND and 2.08 million USD received the investment approval decisions in the first month of 2020.

Of these, 15 projects focus on development of urban infrastructure, solar power, tourism and services. 
In order to attract more investors to Yen Bai, the provincial authorities will continue activities to introduce its potential and strength, while accelerating administrative reform and making it easier for investors to access information via trade promotion channels, business forums, and "business cafe" programme; and diversifying investment promotion forms.

Yen Bai aims to lure 60-80 investment projects each year.

A mountainous locality with many difficulties, Yen Bai has defined investment attraction as a key solution to boost the local socio-economic development.
