Dialogue looks into vocational training, job opportunities for women in Mu Cang Chai

YBO - The Vietnam Women’s Union Central Committee and the Women’s Association of Yen Bai province have co-organised a forum on vocational training and job opportunities for Mu Cang Chai district women.

Experts shared information on policies and guidelines of the Party and the State relating to vocational training and post-training job creation for labourers, demand and requirements of employers in the locality, existing vocational training programmes that match the demand of women as well as requirements of orgnisations and businesses in the district and its adjacent areas, and ensure stable jobs and income for members.

The forum has equipped women, particularly the poor in Mu Cang Chai, with knowledge to encourage them to join vocational training courses in order to get jobs and income, helping them improve their living standards, escape from poverty and spur economic development.
