Yen Bai''s students enjoy great success in national exam for excellent high school students

YBO- The Department of Quality Management under the Ministry of Education and Training has announced the results of the national exam for excellent students in the 2022-2023 academic year. Accordingly, 33 out of 62 contestants of Yen Bai won prizes of the exam, with two first, six second, 13 third and 12 consolidation prizes.

This year, Yen Bai sent 10 teams with 62 students to the exam to compete in 10 subjects, namely maths, literature, geography, history, physics, biology, chemistry, informatics, English and Chinese.

The students are from Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for Gifted Students, Chu Van An High School in Van Yen district, and Nghia Lo High School in Nghia Lo township.

This year, the exam drew the participation of 4,589 students sent by the Departments of Education and Training of 63 cities and provinces, along with the Vietnam National University-Hanoi, Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi National University of Education, Vinh University, Viet Bac High School, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Hue University, and Tan Tao University.

Outstanding winners of the exam will have chances to join the Vietnamese teams to the regional and international Olympiads in 2023./.
